Mr. McCormick has over twenty years of experience in the employee benefits field. As a Principal at EBS Capstone, Mr. McCormick focuses the majority of his time on account retention and client production. Mr. McCormick advises clients on all aspects of health and welfare plans, which includes overseeing the renewal and marketing process, as well as the coordination and implementation process for new benefit programs.
Prior to joining EBS Capstone in February of 1999, he was an Assistant Regional Manager for Reliastar Employee Benefits (now ING Benefits); working with large New England based organizations. Mr. McCormick has experience in virtually all aspects of health and welfare plans. During his distinguished career with ReliaStar, he designed, underwrote, communicated and implemented managed care and indemnity medical plans, dental plans, vision plans, prescription drug plans, short and long term disability plans, life and AD&D plans, Flexible Spending Accounts (section 125), Flexible Benefit Programs, Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs), Business Travel Accident plans, Stop Loss, enrollment services and voluntary worksite benefit plans.
Mr. McCormick currently holds a certificate in Global Benefits Management from the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans.
Mr. McCormick is originally from Muscoda, Wisconsin and graduated with a B.S. in Business Administration and Finance from the University of Wisconsin at LaCrosse. He is currently enrolled in the Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) program, sponsored by the Wharton School of Business and the International Foundation of Certified Employee Benefit Specialists.
Tom currently resides in Sudbury, Massachusetts with his wife Madeline and their two daughters, Daniella and Brennan.
